Gavin Silverhawk

Slightly awkward fighter who wants to be a wizard

Description:
Bio:

Gavin is a character the group encountered after returning to Pell’s Gate. once the group returned to the town (And Asher met with them), they decided to visit the local weapon smith to see if there was anything of interest. The shop owners son was a socially awkward individual, who wore spectacles. In his social isolation, he offered Idhrennial a good deal in exchange for a “date” at the tavern, that night. Idhrennial reluctantly agreed. Asher, however, sympathized with the socially awkward individual. Asher offered him his ring of silver tongue, which makes it easy to seduce people, for the night in exchange for a good deal. Gavin eagerly agreed. Asher also offered him advice, saying that he should try his best to remember how he thinks when he is wearing the ring. That night, Gavin slipped a love poem he wrote under Idhrennial’s door, where she was hiding to try to avoid him. However, the poem was incredible beautiful, even to an Elf’s standards. She finally went to the tavern to meet him for drinks. They had a good time, and she found him to be rather charming, chalking it up to just a bad first impression. However, Gavin only got a “Good-bye” from her. Asher found him alone in the tavern, and inquired about the situation. Asher did not want to see Gavin’s life plummet after returning the ring, so Gavin offered to take him along on a bounty the party was going to collect, the next day. Gavin agreed. In the morning, Gavin (still wearing the ring) and Idrhennial hid inside of a decoy caravan, piloted by Steven, while Asher and Farodin followed from the tree line, keeping an eye out. After being ambushed, and eliminating all of the bandits, the party still had to deal with the powerful leader. After taking a considerable amount of wounds, the leader attacked Idhrennial, and Gavin, who fought poorly the whole time, attacked, and killed the leader in a defensive rage. Gavin returned to town, being haled as a hero. Asher advised him that, after the party leaves, Gavin should join the town guard and gain more experience as a swordsman. Gavin like the idea, and returned the ring. Thankfully, Gavin’s nasally voice was gone, and he had a normal voice. Asher and Gavin said their goodbyes, and claimed to be looking forward to their next encounter.
